With thirty-five years of marriage, we have two great children, each married to loving spouses. Recently we have been blessed with two fantastic grandchildren. We are full time travelers. The last twelve years has found us in almost every part of the United States. Our travel was made possible by doing the best hobby of all time, rock hounding.
What began as a way to relax after work and commune with nature has turned into a way of life. |
We are students of paleontology, mineralogy, and the lapidary arts. An intense search for the perfect stone has led us to, believe it or not, quilts.
Our Quilted Stones were finally birthed in the early months of 2003, and have proven to be a true experience of beauty. Since the inception, the Quilted Stones have won the gaze and admiration of countless people.
These cabochons are a composite of squares, pieces or parts of stone, bonded together by a special process; then cut with a diamond saw and roughly polished. A final polish compound is then applied.
Fifteen years of discovery has led us to this beautiful artwork in stone. We give blessings and have gratitude for all that has helped us on our journey. We hope that you enjoy our work with the same ferocity as us.
